Happened to catch Rachel Maddow this evening. She did a informative show on the new ISIS approach to war fare. This is rather long but informative.
The United States is bombarding ISIS fighters, it is a big war. So ISIS is mad. They went a bit nuts in September 2014 and a spokeman told Muslims living in the West that in the name of ISIS sympathizers should commit terrorist attacks in their home country. "If you can kill a disbelieving American or European especially the spiteful and filthy French or an Australian, or a Canadaina, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war....kill him in any manner or however it may be.
Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or thrown him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him."
This is how unnerved ISIS was against the air strikes against them. Big tactical change for them. They no longer want their Western supporters to travel there to Iraq or Syria, but have told them to stay where they are and not ask anyone's advice or "seek anyone's verdict."
No need to ask for permission, just do it. Kill civilians in your home locality and just be sure to make it known that you did it and in the name of ISIS. ISIS feels this will be better and more profitable to them. "Truly the smallest act you do in their land is more beloved to us than the biggest act done here. It is more effective for us, and more harmful to them."
They have heard that the sympathizers are frustrated because they can't reach military targets but, ISIS says this is not what they want. They want every neighbor here to fear their neighbors.
Two days after this notification went out assaults started all over. In September 2014 and since then ISIS sympathizers in Australia, Canada, Belgium, France and the US have done just that. They have used hatchets, knives, cars, guns and whatever they had. Australia has strict guns laws yet young people found a way to get a gun.
And the United States has no political profile here at all as far as the ISIS war that is going on. Senator Himes from Connecticut says it is no longer a political question, but a moral one.

Have you also heard of the theories going around? That ISIS is nothing more than a United States political move? That it is a terrorist organization funded by our politicians? I am not sure WHERE I heard that but I've heard it several times from different conspiracy theorist.

No! I quit with conspiracy.theories years ago. This is hot off the presses. I have wondered what was going on with ISIS and just wanted to pass the word on.

@ScribbledAdNauseum .....I have some conspiracy theories of my own. It is not really a matter of believing these theories but, feeling that these could possibly be true. I am more of a 'what if' theorist.

If that is the case then, the other countries against ISIS and terrorism must rethink how to battle this.
