This Kind of Made Me Think "Wouldn't It Be Funny If...?" / myLot

I have seen the attached picture a few times. It is my husband's nephew's wife. She is one of the ones who gave birth recently. She had her belly painted. I also know that the baby was born a week early. Wouldn't it be funny if she went into labour while her belly was painted like that? Could you imagine the reaction from hospital staff? I would love to hear a story of that happening.

They probably have. It's interesting to see the things they do now that was never heard of when I was having babies.

I've never actually heard of it happening. I would think it would be something that would be all over social media if it did, by either the mother in labour after the fact or a nurse.

I love the picture. I haven't seen a painted pregnant bulge before, I am sure the hospital staff would have gotten a giggle had the belly been painted when the baby arrived.

Especially if it was a funny picture. I know some pregnant women will have pumpkins painted on around Halloween.
