Low Earnings Today

I have been busy answering posts all day. I have had notifications all day. I have answered each one and tried to answer every comment on one of my posts. With all that frantic activity, I noticed I have earned 9 cents today. It seems that some days when I don't answer as many posts, I earn more. Is this just that some days i notice the amount earned and other days I don't? I am a little puzzled in how it all comes together. Either way, I had a great time reading and commenting on discussions today. That is what really matters in the end.

Your last sentence is so correct. You have to remember that you don't earn because of your own actions (not directly), but only from other people's reactions to you.

I know that. That is why I am puzzled. I have gotten reactions all day long. Notices came all day.

I think everyone has noticed a decrease in earnings and activity here lately. Hopefully things will pick up again soon for all of us. =)

I have heard others say that as well. After I did two posts, I had to close the computer. Lightning bolts were coming down all around us. I did not want my computer fried so had to close it quickly.

It is good to check them once in a while, just so you know how you are doing. Some days, I am having so much fun that I forget to check them.

I haven't really noticed the earnings. I focus on reading posts and responding to those I can leave a comment on. There are quite a few that I have read and only liked.

yes if we concentrateon having fun our earnings may pick up I think maybe they ave earned less in revenue so paying a bit less just my guess of course.

All we can do is just do our part, right? It's hard to pin point earning on here since the algorithm is not known and it depends on how much others interact with our discussions/responses/comments.

It is very mysterious to me. I do poorly when I think it is great and other days I do well while thinking I am not doing so great.

I don't notice it being "slow" or "fast" at any time. I have earned as much a $1.00 in a day, but as low as nothing. One thing I have noted is that it takes approximately 1500 to 1600 item counts to make the $5.00 payout minimum, although this is not always constant. I think having fun is more important though.

@akalinus That sounds about right, people liking your work of commenting on your material. The only time I look at the amount that has accumulated is at the beginning of the day when I compare to yesterday's total.

My lowest earning in the last month was 6 cents in one day. I was gone that entire day except for a short time in the morning and a little longer at night.

It seems to vary quite a bit. Seems though that some discussions attract a lot of attention and others not. I agree as to just having fun and looking for something interesting to read and comment on.

It's hard to get a handle on the earnings sometimes. My income has dropped a lot the last three days but I think I've been as active as usual.

I can't figure it out, either. Some days I don't earn much but have done a lot on here. Other days, I am gone from here but still earn. Go figure!
