Everybody knows about all the 'bad' stuff that's been happening to me and you would think I'd get a break. But no, from week to week more doo-doo and problems seem to be landing on my head.
This week has already been a crapper. Sunday night into Monday morning we had severe storms. I had to go to town for supplies and most of the roads were closed due to flooding. After making innumerable twists and turns to get where I needed to go, all of a sudden the engine light comes on.
I made it to the repair shop and after a diagnostic, the guy says the blower motor is out on the AC unit (which I hadn't used in a year) and showed me a picture of it on his cellphone. The motor was full of melted and chipped plastic. Why? I don't know...remember my name is Nanette and these things automatically just happen to me.
After replacing the motor, adding freon and recharging the AC system, the bill was $92.73. So much for my original trip to town.
I've got 6 cats loaded with fleas and the product I've been using (Sergeants) is about as worthless as using newspaper instead of toilet paper to wipe with. I called my local groomer and she can't get anybody in until Wednesday of 'next' week.
I still can't get ahold of my lawnmower repair guy. Or the guy who was suppose to come out and level my house; both since September of last year. I'm ready to pull my hair out by the roots and it's only Wednesday. I just can't wait to see what the next several days is going to bring.

Omg! When it rains, it pours, and you have certainly gotten soaked. I hope your bad luck improves soon. Just concentrate on one thing at a time. Btw, we had a brand new car about 3 years ago. The air conditioning went and it cost us $2500 or something to repair. It wasn't covered by the warranty. A stone hit the unit from beneath. Grrrrr

Oh holy crap @DianneN . I do have to consider myself lucky; my Saturn is 16 years old and I've only had to have 3 minor repairs done.

If I could just get a month's worth of solace @jaboUK , I could prepare for the next round of situations.
