Friendship lost

I received a call from a very close friend of mine yesterday accusing me of starting rumors about her to a person who hates us both. I couldn't believe my ears and now I am heartbroken . How can she mistrust me like that? Can we even be friends now? I know I certainly don't trust her anymore.

Why is believing the person who hate her?
Dont leave the matter, please go ahead by any means and speak to her.not be left
Friendship should be with trust. Explain the situation and tell the truth.

Even though it seems that it's over I hope that in time you both can repair your long friendship. I understand how hurt you are as I've lost some good friends from similar things

It is happening to lot of peoples now a days. You just try to explain every thing to her clearly. There is hope to get your friend back to you as normal. All the best.
