Had Cami wake up Josh at 2:30p. That was just getting too late. I went to sleep about 3a. this morning and I think he was still up. I woke up about 11a. but stayed in bed awhile. The 64th annual Weiser Fiddler Contest starts on the 18th and goes until the 25th. My ex and I used to go and enjoyed listening to fiddles, bangoes, guitars and other musical instruments well into the morning hours. We'd just park the truck up close to a gathering that sounded good and fall asleep listening. Such fun! It took place at the school there and there was an old park back behind it where the old school and some other buildings were. Great place for some music, dancing and such. Tried some white ligtning too one night that a guy offered us. Lots of fun memories. Cherry Festival going on in Emmett too. Nice one I haven't been to though. In all my years here I don't recall ever going to the festival. I was in town when it was going on but never went. Ellen is going on about her Finding Nemo film that is opening now or soon. Sounds like a cute movie. Anyone see it yet? Or is it just coming out? Got my blood tests results in an email. Am now waitng for a nurse to call me back to decipher some of it that I am not sure about. Hep C was negative. Thyroid is 133 and not sure what that or the LDL and HDL stufff are. Patience is the name of the game. The nurse finally called and said all of my tests are okay. The doc will call about starting me on a cholesteral med due to it being high. But, that's all. Thyroid is right where I need to be and so I might make it to my estimated 86.5 years that I have figured I will live to be. Maybe even past that, huh? I won't go down without a fight. Hehe Tomorrow is my eye exam. Ugh! Always hate to be messed with. It's with a female doctor so that will be nice. Weatherman just said that next week it is going back up in the 90's. It's been in the high 60's and up into 70's. Several kids in the news. One two year old in Orlando at the Disney World Resort there was taken by a alligaor. The father did all he could to fight off the animal but couldn't. The authorities found what they presumed was the remains of his body hours later. Locally a man is being charged with child abuse on a two month old bady he had been beating. Can you believe it? And a young boy locally fell out of a four story(I think)window. I guess he is in critical condition. Too many kids not being better watched. I watched Norman Reedus's new show on AMC that I DVR'd. He is one of the main characters on The Walking Dead. His show started Sunday. It is of him riding motorcycles around the country. They were on Pacific Highway this time. Dear ole 101. Some fun places they stopped to enjoy along the way. The show is called "Ride With Norman Reedus". Lots of different type motorcycles. One electric one and some cool customized ones. I had a long talk with my daughter last night about the way Josh treats her. She says today that she is working with him to be more respectful of her. I had a confrontation with him when I told him next week was going to be hot and could he please be sure to put his blinds down and close his window during the heat of the day. He blew up at me and was yelling. I can't stand it when he gets that way. Very intimidating. I had said I would come in his room then to close them and that really made him mad. Bad move on my part.
