Orlando: a happy place with a heavy heart

Our children and two of their kids are in Orlando, Florida this week at Universal Studios. Our daughter said there's such a sadness after the tragedies there.
They (along with all of us) have cried over the drowning of that precious two year old little boy from an alligator. Our daughter and family live in Charleston, SC so they know the dangers of alligators. That poor family was from Nebraska so of course, they weren't as aware.
The slaughter of all the people at the night club and the murder of Christina Grimmie has left Orlando with such a sad and hurting heart.
Our prayers are for all the families that God will give them comfort and peace.

You're right that there are signs for no swimming, but there should be signs to beware of alligators. Local people probably know that, but visitors from other states and countries might not.

@1creekgirl I have seen many signs to beware of alligators and so many locals told me to stay away from water for exactly that reason, when I was vacationing there. I have seen a couple even in the new city built by Disney in Kissimmee.

@LadyDuck I'm glad you had people warning you of the dangers.

I am sure it is a very sad place to be right now. My prayers are with the families as well.
