Our weekend will be a busy one with Anne's birthday and Father's Day too

Later this morning, we are off for a 170 mile drive to southern Oregon, the city of Medford, near the California border. There is an artists' reception at the Rogue Gallery and Art Center this evening and Anne has some of her art quilts on display in this collection. We will celebrate her birthday there, stay overnight and come home Saturday morning.
The Rogue Gallery, by the way, is named for the river that flows through the city, not the artists.
Due to some people shortages at the store where I work part-time, I will work from noon until 6 PM on Saturday, then I am off Sunday and my daughter will be here.
I hope that your weekend is just the way you like it too.

i used to've a friend who lived'n medford :) i'm glad that y'all were able to get 'way, 't least fer a brief stretch'f time. hope ya didn't work too hard. enjoy yer time with family'n sunday - happy fathers day!

No Dad's here to celebrate but it will be an interesting weekend here anyway. I think it will be the last cool one for a while. Next week it is supposed to get up in the triple digits Not looking for to that. Hope you have a nice father's day.

A quilt! That is so lovely. Quilts are great as it is really made with time and dedication and love!

I am also quite busy this weekend since it is Father's day and I am prepping for a bit of a surprise for my husband! Can't wait!! :)

I hope you enjoy the artists' reception. It's amazing how much Anne can get onto a quilt - wonderful.
I's a busy weekend for me too - I'm working at the races, and then on Sunday all our family will be here. Father's Day this year coincides with our wedding anniversary.

Happy Birthday to Anne and Happy Father's Day to you. My wife and I will be traveling tomorrow, too. We are taking our travel trailer out to Boone, NC for a weeks vacation in the mountains. I will be observing Father's Day without the company of my sons, one of whom is in Air Force training in Pensacola and the other who is completing an internship in Stuttgart. Hopefully, I will her from them via FB or Skype on Sunday.
