Had a argument with some one yesterday. It takes a lot before I will blow up on someone, but this had been building for a year!! This is why I avoid being around them because they're negative, complainer, and know it all.
Anyway, now after I've cooled down, there are so many things else I could have said, but I just can't think of them at the time!! I guess I need a teleprompter!
I guess I need a teleprompter! Do you always miss the opportunity for a comeback AFTER you have had a conversation?

Oh, yes I sure do! I think over what I have said and find other things I wish I had said. Ugh!

@stoutjodee my best putdowns come to mind the next day. Maybe it's best that way because they are mostly rather vicious!

It happens a lot to me and I do not get into arguments a lot, but sometimes you are more of in a debate mode such as the reasons why your idea is better. Now I am great at compromising and looking and listening to the other person. What I like to do is listen to the person and usually I will see something that is better (maybe just one area) and I will reason with the person and try to explain why these other areas it is important for them to understand. Sometimes I will explain it and later I realize, ahhhh I could of come up with a better comeback to the persons reason why they feel it is better.
This happens all the time, unless I know I am going into a meeting that I will need to voice my concerns and there is going to be push back from a user. On these cases that I can plan, I will go through the types of questions or concern the users will go over and if I have time, I will be prepared.
