My Fun Saturday

I didn't have anything special planned for today but there was a rummage sale at the Lutheran Church in Stayton and since I had never been there I decided to go and see what they had.
The sale was held in their rather large parking lot and they had a lot of donated items most for a reasonable price.
They had a huge trailor with boxes of stuff on it to look through also.
They had a booth for drinks and home made foods.
One thing I did find different was they had no clothing items for sale.
I found some books and a few other items.
It was a nice drive there and back and I had a nice time.

Unfortunately, my Saturday consisted of sitting inside the house all day and doing chores and cleaning, as it was storming badly the entire day. I had several things I wanted to do yesterday that got cancelled due to all the rain. So far it seems pretty nice today, so I'll try to get outside and catch up on the things I wanted to do yesterday!

@Marcyaz Yesterday and today have been absolutely gorgeous outside, something unheard of at this time of year in Florida, so I've been spending as much time outdoors as I can! I know by the end of the week we'll be back in our typical summertime weather patterns of scorching heat, unbearable humidity, and daily thunderstorms. But for now, I'm going to take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood, watch a beautiful sunset, and enjoy this fine weather. This more than makes up for being stuck in the house all day last Saturday!

I wonder if they might be keeping the clothes back for another type of sale or a second hand store. Glad you had a nice time.

We don't usually have clothes at our church sales because we end up with way too many of those donated and they don't sell well. I allowed them this time and we only sold maybe 6 pieces. I donated all the rest at the end of the sale to the fair priced clothing store.
