First Big Payout

This Friday I'll get my first big salary. Although I'm excited to see my payslip I'm also a bit sad knowing that the money in there won't last long as I have to pay a lot of debts, help out relatives, and send money home to my parents. And then there's tax. I think it will take me some more months to be able to feel my salary. I'm on saving mode at the moment.

Ahaha. Adult life is so stressful. I was thinking once I get a proper job I'd be happier but it seems like responsibilities are piling up.

I can imagine your first big pay will disappear quite quickly - but there will be more to follow. Will you be paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly?

I am paid weekly. But plenty of debts to pay. Anyway on the brighter side of things at least I'm able to pay them slowly.

This is very exciting. Did you get a new job recENTLY? Either way, congratulations. It is always sad to see sa good paycheck have to go to bills and debt. At least you are keeping up with them and paying down debt.

Yeah it's actually quite frustrating. I haven't had the money yet but I'm pretty sure it already is good as gone.

Although I love my parents to bits, yes I feel really broke thinking of all the responsibilities I'm going to get.

@flapiz If you are lucky, it will take some months/years before you feel broke, if you are unlucky, it will take decades and you will still be broke.

Well I hope I will get through all this. Anyway this is what adulthood means. Debts and responsibilities. No wonder people get wrinkles.

I can understand how you feel. The money we get doesn't seem to last long. Certainly not as long as we'd like it too. Sometimes, it's just the way it is.
