Donald Trump fires campaign manager Corey Lewandowski

Wow! Has Trump finally seen the light? Has he finally realized that he has been shooting himself and the entire Republican Party in the foot every day for weeks? I’m hearing that wiser-than-Trump daughter Ivanka may have played a major role in this decision. Since last June, Trump performed unheard of miracles, rising to the top of the Republican Party, often as a result of bizarre and unorthodox tactics. He looked like maybe he could pull it off, take Hillary down and win a long-awaited Presidential election for the Republicans. Then, for the past many weeks, it appeared he changed his mind, no longer wanted to be President and was trying single-handedly to give the election to Hillary on a silver platter, make that a gold platter. He’s gotten more belligerent and nasty and stubborn, if that’s possible, insulting many, alienating multitudes, and seriously dividing the GOP, refusing to listen to anyone but himself. It will be very interesting to see what Trump does now. Can he change at this point? Can he take some advice from someone else? Can he fix the damage he’s done and lead the Republicans to victory? Time will tell. Image: Pixabay

I think he can't seem to control his mouth from saying outrageous things and that will eventually derail his campaign.

It's both hilarious and scary that he's gotten this far. He says what a lot of people want to say but are afraid to. I admire that. But would I vote for the guy? Um, no.

I'm where you're at. I won't vote for anyone else, but I'm still not sure I could ever vote for him. He'd have to REALLY make some major changes.

Nobody knows the real reason for firing the campaign manager. Probably due to his lack of fund. He has so much less money for his campaign than Clinton, and there is nothing much the campaign manager can do with so little money.

If this man wants to be a viable candidate for Presidency, he needs to start acting like a 'grownup'. I think that he suffers from what some call 'The Napoleon Syndrome'. I believe that, at some point, the GOP would be within their right to take the nomination away from him on grounds of psychological instability which makes him unfit to preside over our Government.

We'll soon find out. Now that Lewandowski is gone, things should change, one way or the other.

So the entire world now has two interesting elections coming up - will Britain leave the EU and who will guide the USA? Interesting times.

Both are very interesting and also frightening in their own specific ways.

@LindaCPearson I think he needs to stop running off at the mouth so much, sounds like his daughter makes more sense than he does.. We'll see how he acts now after firing his campaign manager, time will tell.
