I have talked with my youngest daughter and my friends about my wish to sell this house and move and they are all supportive.
The house is much too big for me, it has 4 bedrooms and I live alone. Worst of all, it is a two story house and I not want stairs.
And last, but not least, it is too near my brother. Last weekend I said that enough was enough.
I´ll tell you about it.

Four bedroom for one person is a bit much. I'd feel like I was rattling around in a place like that.

I agree. This was my house when all my family lived here. I should have sold it before, but there were so many memories.

@koopharper It is difficult to almost give away most of your belongings. And they all mean something

@marguicha Sometimes it is hard to leave. I think it was hard on my dad to sell the home we all pretty much grew up in. For him to be alone in a house that was big enough for ten just wasn't practical.

I hope you find the perfect house. Sometimes a change is necessary.

I do. And I will save money which will add to my money for traveling.

This week I will not have Leticia to help me and last week I only had her part time for 2 days. It is quite different to clean up with no help at all.

@jaboUK I have the idea that people who do housework here work less than in the UK. My sister lived there for many years and when she could pay for help, the girl would do wonders in a day. Leticia is more a companion to me and I cook, wash part of the dishes and do other things. She comes at 10 AM, has breakfast, smokes and only then starts to work.

@marguicha I'm lucky to have a girl come once a week - I hate housework.
