Dex-starr My favorite new Supervillain

Anyone here who had been following me for years knows I have a huge fascination with supervillains. I want to make a discussion about the origin of Dex-starr, He is a supervillain you might thought to be not serious but he is one of the most serious and darkest out there. He is one of the villains of Green Lantern. I want to see Dex-starr to be in a movie but I don't think he will be in a movie soon because the last Green Lantern movie is a flop. He fought other DC superheroes though so I hope he can at least appear on The flash or Supergirl tv series. Dex-starr use to be an ordinary cat, he experienced a lot of cruelty from humans but that changed when a nice lady adopted him, His owner is the only human who gave him love and care but one day a burglar entered his owner's apartment and murdered her. Because he is just a kitten he is unable to defend his beloved owner. After losing his owner, he experienced more cruelties from humans but that stopped when a magical red ring gave him powers. He is one of the most viscous super villains out there. I wish I can see him in a movie someday. I embedded a short video about his origin story, It is going to make you shed tears. I hope to see him in a movie or TV show soon.

It is obviously designed after comic book nerds which is what you are not. Comicbook nerds loves talking about origin stories of heroes and villains. Also the fact this supervillain is a murderous cat with a tragic backstory means it has an audience because cat lovers are vocal in the internet. I am also trying to attract younger people in Mylot because the place is invaded by moms and dads. This is a character review, I am writing about something I am passionate about for once and people like you are the reason why I am stuck to discussing stuff I dont want just to appeal to the likes of you. Things will change now because I will only write about my passion. It wont make me popular but it can help me find the right people to talk with. Dude find some discussions where you have something to contribute. Thanks for the insult. You just made me angry.

@ModernDayWriter I am obviously passionate on this one knowing how long it is. Comments like yours discourages me from making discussions were I am passionate about.

I feel sad for this cat, who only experience good thing from a certain human. But i've watch this video and it's sad he just came back to his previous owner.

I think his backstory alone could make him the next big onscreen villain. Since Green lantern is a flop, They can give him to Superman, Flash or Wonderwoman. I also wont mind him on TV. He will really fit well with Flash and Supergirl. His backstory get so many people teary eyed. Though he is a supervillain , I heard many readers were inspired to adopt cats after reading his story.

@Letranknight2015 the television Universe of DC is better though. Marvel's TV's only edge is that their TV is connected to marvel cinematic Universe. but most Marvel TV shows are boring. Agents of shield and Daredevil were routinous to watch.

@CaptAlbertWhisker they didn't link or organized it the way the avengers and it's characters did. unless they start over, the rest are just nothing more than a big FLOP

He defeated Batman in a fight. He is the wrong human to take revenge on though,

@Letranknight2015 I think his popularity is growing that he might transition from a villain to an anti-hero. DC just released stuffed toys of him.

Dex-Starr I like initially for two reasons:Red energy based abilitiesand he he's a cat." Admittedly when I first saw him, I thought he like the Green Lantern Squirrel Chip. "A cute animal team mascot," but then I learned of his origins from a comic-book review, and holy f*ck, no wonder this cat is Red Lantern. But I haven't been reading any Green or Red Lantern comics, and admittedly I should, I just need the money to buy them first.

I thought he is a joke character at first but he is shockingly one of the most serious villains ever. I never expected him to have depth which is very brilliant of the writers.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Yeah, which is interesting considering that, if memory serves me right, Dex-Starr was created back when editors had a hand in writing the stories... The results being less than Stellat... But Dex-Starr's creator Geoff johns does have a track record at least according to fans of being a good writer, and Dex-Starr's origins is proof of that. Fun fact, Dex-Starr was intended to a joke character, but the positive reception he got gave the demand for him to be more prominent. Kinda a bummer that he wasn't featured in the short-lived Green Lantern cartoon... At least not from what I can remember.
