My grandmother was going through some things that were my moms. My mom died a few years ago, for those who don't already know. Well when we were moving things out of her home to get it sold etc, we had to move fast. We were on a deadline and had to make sure we could get a lifetime full of things out and sorted. Some things didn't get sorted, but lumped together.
There was a picture that was in some of the stuff, of my sister, mom and aunt. It was at my elementary school, and from the age my sister looks, I guess I was either in kindergarten, first or second grade.
My elementary school held craft flea markets and my mom sold a bunch of dolls there. I think she would net around $200.00 by the time all was said and done for the day.
I looked at the picture for a good few minutes, my mom and aunt talking and my sister looking ever so thrilled to be there (sarcasm heavily intended).
Those were some good days... Even if I was also terribly bored at those events as well.

Kids are funny about what they are interested in. Usually anything that adults aren't. LOL

They really didn't have any place for us to run off energy. The flea market was held in the gymnasium / audiotorium which opened up to the cafeteria. They would open the partition between the two rooms and it would make one big one.
The play ground was on the other side of the school grounds so we really couldn't go over there.

Some of the older photos are the best! We love looking at pix of family members who were just thrilled to pose and some-who really were not into it at all.

This wasn't a planned picture either, those are the best. The "caught off guard" ones. No one was looking at the camera in the picture.
