My husband was diagnosed of having type 2 diabetes three years ago. Although the doctor said that his internal organs are fine and are not damaged, but still he was totally devastated, depressed, and on suicidal mode. Of course, I'm always in his side, supporting him throughout.
Then he tried to maintain a good diet, eating red or brown rice, and exercises daily. Today, he eats everything but in moderation, exercises daily, maintains his medication, and per doctor's advice, he injects insulin daily. Seems he is fine now.
How about you?

I hope that he will be able to get a grip of his emotions and understand that he just simply needs to manage his life more than before which will involve strict observance on his diet, exercises and rest. Especially in the area of diet which can be quite an ordeal since it is a total 180 degrees change and if I may add that he should be drinking sourced distilled water than any other kind of water to help his management further.

@Macarrosel
You can give a try on the water by comparing the readings after consumption of one day of distilled water. I am sure you are going to be surprised.

So good you are very supported of him when he was down; now it looks he is so happy (in the photo). Exercise and diet are the common advice of doctors.
