Trial and error...

Photo of a new item I'm making to put into my shop, but should have ironed first...

I started working on something new for my Etsy shop today--putting the little cross stitch pieces I'd made that my mother found a bag full of into the small frames I'd gotten on eBay. Unfortunately, I should have thought of ironing the piece before gluing it into the frame. Once I was done, I could see all of the creases and whatnot Guess I shouldn't have tried this with sinus problems clogging my brain and making it harder to concentrate. Live and learn, I suppose. As for the one pictured, I guess I'll be sticking a magnet on the back and slapping it onto the refrigerator...

I think it looks cute! You could always mark this one cheaper and try the other way next time.

Thank you, @ricki_911 -- I just don't want to sell anything that's "not right" in my shop.

@xstitcher You could post it stating the issue. Some people wouldn't even notice or care of the flaws.

But, I would still know that they were there, @ricki_911

I can see a small 'wave' effect, but, not bad enough to call it sloppy. Although, you might try to unglue it by warming up the edges with a hair dryer and gently pulling it off(if it's only glued around the periphery of the frame). Just a thought :-)

Yeah, it's glued more than that, but thank you, @Wordly1 . I will certainly remember for next time !

That's a good idea! I can't see the wrinkles in the picture, but I'm sure it looks worse in person. At least you noticed before you sold one, and had a customer complain. I hope your sinuses clear up so that you can think clearly again.
