Went to Yard Sales This Morning

Two of my daughters and I got up early this morning to hit some yard sales. A fairly large neighborhood has their annual rummage sales and I LOVE to go to them each year.
We had a time restraint this morning and only made it to about half of the sales.
I spent a total of $8.35 for what you see in the picture, including the cot.
The cot was $3 and the beads, including the items made and instruction books was also only $3.
The coloring books, 2 skeins of the yarn, and the 3 little toys were in free boxes. Everything else was either 10 cents or 25 cents.
Just the beads would have cost what I spent. The fancy yarn would have cost more than that amount too new. I feel good about my purchases.
I can let one of the kids sleep on the cot until I get my craft room cleaned up, where I intend to keep it.
Have you gotten any great bargains lately?

Sound like you got some good finds. I love garage sales haven't went for awhile cause of my health. I can remember a good friend of mine we used to get up early on saturday's stop and get a newspaper and go have breakfast somewhere and we would map out targets, lol. Those are some good memories.

I posted about a trip to Goodwill.I seldom go to yard sales as I do not know where to put stuff if I do.

I had to stop myself from buying some cheap sheet sets since I already have a shelf full and a trash bag full in my craft room....it was hard to not buy them!
