I was eagerly waiting for Tania, my eldest daughter. I never get to see her as she is working herself to death. She is paying for her house and she just bought a piece of land in a very good and touristy place in the south. She says that it is for her retirement. But today she brought me other news. She had checked the small amount of dollars the Bank gives us for using the credit card. She hadn´t done that for sevral years and the dollars ketp adding up. She discovered that she had enough money for an air fare to Europe so she is going to see her two older sons who are in Europe. First she will go to Zurich, in Switzerland, where her eldest lives. He has rented a house in the Alps and he can have her there. Then she will fly to Madrid, Spain, where she will meet her second boy, Felipe, who is studying flamenco guitar in Sevilla. I was so happy that we had a tear, laughter, hug Isn´t it wonderful? She will only have to spend money in food I guess and she will not be earning while on vacations. But that doesn´t matter. I offered to have Diego with me for those weeks.

That is indeed great news - to be reunited with your loved ones. How long has it passed since she has seen her sons?

@allen0187 They live in Europe and the trip is expensive so it is only by chance that this can happen.

That's great news! I have a credit card that pays me cash back, but I dump it into my savings account every other month or so.

I have the same credit card my daughter has and I use the dollars to travel. I have never saved so much though because I never spend so much.

I am sure it will be very good for her to see her eldest children and have time to relax as well! Switzerland is a beautiful place from what I've heard, so it will hopefully be easy for her to relax. It's not good to work so much without time to relax.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It will be the end of Summer. A little chilly for us in Switzerland and too hot in Spain. But that can be helped with the right clothes.
