Looking at the sleeping baby

After sleeping on the cot for some time, my baby started to make some noise, so I picked him up and am holding him now. He is sleeping nicely in my hands, and making some funny sounds while sleeping. It's so nice to see the sleeping babies or children. They look very peaceful, and it's nice to see their expressions when they are sleeping too. I guess this is why I don't mind holding my baby for long time, as I really enjoy the bonding moment. They will not let me hold them for so long when they grow up. Do you like watching while the baby is sleeping?

it's the same with puppies and kittens, the funny positions they sleep in and the way their eyes, ears, mouth and paw twitch.

Yes, I agree with you. I always relate dogs or cats to children, especially puppies and kittens. They are just as cute and sweet as babies.

Yes, I think that too. That's why I don't mind holding my baby always, it's just that sometimes I am too tired and I am afraid he will fall off from my hands.

I remember those times I held my baby in my hands. How small, cute, and peaceful! And how secured they were with daddy around.

A sleeping baby in your arms is a lovely feeling. Haven't had that feeling for quite a few years now, glad you are treasuring it.

Even I like looking at sleeping babies. You are right, they will not allow us to hold when they grow up.

Yep! I love to stare at my nephews and niece and when they are baby while they are sleeping. I always wanted to hold my finger while they are asleep :)

I can't resist watching my wee babes when they're asleep. Mostly because I'm paranoid that they're going to stop breathing. Not that any of them ever have...but that worry always lurks at the back of my mind. I was at a baby shower and was asked what one of the best parts of being a mom is. I thought I'd be funny and said, "The best part of being a mom is when your children go to sleep!" It got a laugh, but I felt like a jerk afterwards, when everyone made sweet comments about their kids.
