Hello everyone! There's just questions comes to my mind, because for me, I prioritize those people who leave comment or response to my discussion and I ignore those likes that I earned from that discussion, So I was wondering how others handle this type of mylotters who just liked your discussion? Do you interact back by responding? Or you just ignore them like what I'm doing?
But who knows maybe after I read your response, my point of view will change

Different people 'like' for different reasons. I will 'like' any discussion I respond to (usually), but I won't 'like' a discussion I don't respond to unless I did actually like the discussion but didn't have anything to say to it.

I rarely just like posts, almost always I can find something to say about it in a response or comment. And, therefore, no I don't go and like a post of theirs if I receive a like from them. Sometimes, I don't have time to comment right then, and I'll leave a like and then return after work to make my comment.
If I'm bored and caught up which doesn't happen too often, then I might visit with some that merely like my discussions, but that is very rare for me to be that caught up.

I always respond to those who left comments/response, and I also visit their discussions and comment; same with those who liked my discussion but did not leave a response/comment.

my problem is, if they don't say anything I tend to get off track and forget to go to their posts. actually I have been told, if they just like and go on without responding, that earns for me and not for them.

I may respond to a discussion but I may not necessarily like the discussion. I don't feel obligated to give a like. I only give one if I really like the discussion, response or comment. Isn't that what the LIKE button is for?

@tech40,I like and respond to posts by those who like and respond to my discussions. However as I can't stay online for more than one and a half hour in a day,I sometimes fail to visit some posts. However I generally try my best to like and respond to posts by those who like and respond to my posts.

Sometimes, I just don't know what to say. I just hit like in those cases. When someone likes your comment, it is an interaction and you should not put it down. I don't get anything for liking a comment but you probably get a small fraction of a penny for it. They add up after a while.
I comment on things I am interested in. I don't punish people for not reacting the way I think they should. I turned off the like notifications so I really don't think about them that much.

I respond/comment on purely what I'm interested in.
I don't return the favour if someone responded to me unless I come across one of their discussions and find it interesting.

I Like when I realllllly like the Discuss post. And I comment after thinking about what's being said for discussion. There are many interesting posts here, so far, that I enjoy putting in my views about them.

I respond back to those who respond to my post but likes on my posts I hardly notice because I turned off notifications for likes. I don't like back because I believe it does not really add to earnings.
