How are We Connected with Creation?

I wonder oftentimes about our role while alive here. Are we just to safeguard ourselves, exist and then depart reluctantly? Then we are not much different from other species.
We are supposed to have sparks of divinity in us but most do not connect with our innate strength lost as we are in the mundane world chugging along inexorably to the destination of death.
There have been occasional insights that strike a chord with us and leave a deep impression. However, life is repetitive and we struggle to find meaning other than fleeting moments of hope and despair that seem to alternate. We learn the same lessons generation after generation.
The handed down beliefs are a solace especially in trying times with a hope of better times beyond our domain here.
How else can we connect with the whole creative process? Will we be groping in the dark forever or do you think we would make some breakthroughs in understanding more about life before and after?

I do think about these things from time to time my friend Siva.
It is fascinating to think of the possibilities that may or many not be.
What is significant and stands out to me in this life, is that no one, not one of us has the answers.

I know these are sort of "out of bounds" for us for a reason.
A limit has been set beyond which we cannot foray.
I have a view Ocean Tiara, we will know the real "us" when we finally cross the border.
We may get embellished with the needed senses to understand more - siva

@Shiva49 I believe that there are different planes of existence. Surely I hope we will still live on in one of them or perhaps several when our life here ends Siva.

To question the meaning of life, some also ask: Why are we here? Does my life have a purpose? You can consider fundamental truths that the Bible reveals.

I believe that all of our perceived problems are only problems because we are perceiving them at the level of them being problems.
We are all players on this stage: if we we do not like the play, perhaps we should take it up with the creator of the play.
I do not like the play myself, but I keep going within it out of curiosity, to see what else has been planned for the world, in the next act of the play.
What is our real role and our real purpose here for our living here? What part of God's creative process are we, within it all? Are we co-creators too?
No, I think that we are not creators in the sense of our being able to create anything new out there, but we are creators in our being able to rearrange God's already given creation. The way that you rearrange it can either build upon it good things, or destroy some of the inherent inbuilt creativeness of it.
What is the main problem then, but our trying to be creators too much by our manipulating things, when we should be more being a part of things, rather than trying to act on them as an outside force coming in.
Problem solving never finds solutions, because you focus on the problem, where there is no solution. The solution always is love, just give love to any presented problem, and let the problem disappear into that love then.
Hard to do though, and easy to say. That's because our mind says it, but it is our heart that must do it, action the love within itself.

@Shiva49 I guess you are really asking this question here siva.
How can we do this (connect to creation from love) and then live practically from this love, in what appears to be a non-loving environment?
Love is at its most active/strongest when it is at its weakest.
That means that love never fights back, but continually turns the other cheek towards all around it.
This is what we are meant to learn to do also, not to learn to live here from evil, but to live here from love, despite all of our own misgivings about our doing so.
When we live only from love in this way, we will eventually rise into love's domain, as in heaven, (i.e. we will bring heaven into our living here).
We must remember that this place that we find ourselves within now is but a short visit for us to be given the chance to test our resolve to love.
It is nothing else, and we should not make too much of the way it is, or appears to be.
We need to just shine our own light of love on all, and then let them do what they like with our light, and their own light too, of course, but never put our own light out, ( or let anything or anybody else put it out for us) despite all of the sometimes huge and frightening shadows, sometimes rearing up around us, as we do so (shine our light on all that is).

Thanks Steve, we get carried away by greed and ego with love taking a back seat.
I think it is more of "form over substance" at play.
We go through the rituals but lose the plot to place love where it takes over our life.
All beliefs teach love and peace but in the end it proves water off a duck's back when it comes to practice.
Everyone claims to be right but the end result is we are the losers.
We don't give an inch but expect others to give more than a yard.
So we don't connect where it matters and we don't have time when we are putting out self-created fires.
How then can we connect with creation that has love written all over it? siva

I think the most important thing for us to remember constantly is that we are all here for a purpose. It could be to serve mankind or mother nature. A lot may be grappling for the directions and answers but it is already decided from the choices we make and the subjects that we so excel in. Just don't go through blindly and wastefully because we all have just this much time on this earth to do good and pass on to the next generation.

Well said Artemeis @artemeis, sort of we are here to tend to nature and enhance the whole process.
However, come to think of it, other species are more attuned, focused, and know their jobs better.
We come with varied talents and when we keep them in mind we are more useful and our lives also are more fulfilling.
So, in a way, the whole set up should be attuned to recognize our talents highlighting the oneness of humanity and the uniqueness in each of us.
Not like now where most end up as square peg in a round hole - siva.

The Bible says we are transformed a little by little to attain more of His divine nature 'as we allow his word' to work in us. I believe it and I have seen peoples lives change.. That depends on what we really want to focus on the materialistic stuff or the spiritual stuff. I believe the greatest breakthrough would be our ability to elevate ourselves from the things of the world. That is my take on this.

One of the issues is greed and ego.
I have felt their vice grip when those who should know better are still at it, meaning, they have enough and elderly but still look for ways for easy money by taking advantage of the trusting.
We find extreme hatred more than matched by love in everyday life.
Hatred yields to love sooner or later but we are not able to seal the love and make it last.
Asian culture places high value on detachment from the world, more particularly material wealth, after a certain age when family responsibilities are behind us.
As a matter of fact, I was into finance dealing with millions for the past few decades but I have moved on with zilch monitoring of markets etc. I have enough to take care of basic needs and for emergencies. That means out of the rat race and having time for acts that give fulfillment - siva

@sofssu Thanks. my prayers are mostly through helping those in need and seeking higher guidance at all times. I see our Creator in His creations and that means everywhere.
When we lead a life bereft of ego and greed I think we are right there where godliness resides - siva
