Sgt. 1st Class Erin Smith, right here in dear ole Idaho. is the nation's first female to graduate from the U.S. Army's M1 Armor Crewman School. She is with the Idaho National Guard. They are going to start using Gowen Field In Mountain Home, Idaho to teach female's tank warfare. Here's the article:
