I am getting ready for my trip next week.
I discovered a medium to small suitcase besides the one I use and, as Claudia is asking for a suitcase, I told her that we could share. But I don´t want to get my clothes wrinkled and I don´t know what she wants to carry. The only thing I have clear is that Sofía wants to take all her toys. I hope Claudia will put a number to that.
Meanwhile I am placing all my clothes over the living room sofas. I am doing it by sections so that I can easily fill my suitcase as soon as I know what else will I have to carry.
As we are going to a place with kitchen, I´m taking with me some favorite spices and dry herbs. I will not buy dry bay leaves at St Maarten when I have 2 bay trees in my garden. The same goes for dry oregano and with 2 children around, we can easily fix dinner making huge amounts of tomato sauce for pasta. They love that!
How do you prepare yourself for a family trip?
I downloaded another picture from a Caribbean island.

It´s not marihuana
It´s just a couple of dried bay leaves from my garden. I always smuggle 2 or 3 teaspoons of coffee and sugar and some dry herbs to have something to drink and eat before I go to the super there.

@marguicha some islands are very strict about bringing non-native plants and produce into their borders. Just a heads-up.

THe giant cruiser was not the most important part of my picture. I was taking a picture of the iguana.
