"Despite having seen it" are The words from Barry regarding the stamp licked and pasted onto my postcard sent from Turkey! @Asylum How could he forget? Easy, it was weeks ago and he is obviously due for another break-a-way from the rainy UK. I was very busy in the kitchen of the Club today and only have found some relaxing time now. The meals I prepared went down excellently! Lasagne is my benchmark, but the Chicken followed suite. Not a morsel left, not a scrap for the bin, if I didn't know any better, I would have thought they all licked their plates. The stamp is beautiful. Birds are the Great Tit, Parus Major

I would have genuinely been unable to state that the stamp had birds on it, which seems quite surprising now that you have displayed it. You can see quite clearly by the postmark that this was way back on 13th June, so it is not surprising that I need another break.

dang, i was so hopin' that'cha might'a saved me't least a bite'f that lasagna! ;) sounds like 'round here when i'd throw a feed'n, always silently hopin' fer some lefto'ers, but most oft nary a one. beautiful stamp :) 'round here all ya seem to be able to get's those peel'n stick'uns.
