It used to be that folks were once interested in your “sign”? Maybe they still are. I don't know. But have you ever had somebody start a conversation with you by asking if you're a Leo or an Aquarius or whatever? Oh yeah! For some folks your sign was critical in helping them decide if they were going to have a serious and meaningful relationship with you.
Well! OUT with the horoscope signs. IN with the emojis!
Do you know that the emoji you use the most could be a revelation of who you are?
Give me a break! 
Maybe that works for others. But I just pick the emoji that's the easiest to click on! I don't have the patience to go through all those different emojis and choose “the perfect one” to reflect my tone, mood and personality. 
Anyway! It's an interesting psychological concept.

The emojis I use are based on what I'm saying. If I'm joking, then I laugh. If I'm serious, I don't put anything. But I do use :) :D xD and XD often in text and and in mylot.

When Bubblews was around they added some cool emojis to use for creating short posts. I liked the pineapples!

@Tierkreisze - Bubblews, as many former users will tell you, came and went and many of us don't miss the site at all! Some even avoid saying the name. It was an online writing community, that made a lot of promises but did not follow through.

The whole "what's your sign?" deal went right over my head. I'd just look at them like and then point to the stop sign. I use emojis to express my feeling when I'm happy or because words might get me into trouble.

Emojis have quickly become a natural part of modern day digital communication. Where did these little characters originate from and why have they become so popular?

Mine is the happy face cause it's the first on the list. Although?? ... It kind of does reflect who I am. I'm a content person.

Although I don't take the time to look for an emoji, I do like when others share the different ones. Some of them are so cute!
