From home to the church to the terminal...

It is a sunny Sunday once again, my friends, and I allowed my son to drive the car from the main highway to the church then from the church to the bus terminal to fetch my sister.
Traffic was benign, and there were just a few vehicles on the road. My son drove the car, turned right, then on third gear, drove the car uphill;l as well,. I took over to park the car within the church premises.
After mass, he drove again; brought the car out from the parking area, then stopped at a bakery to buy 10 pieces of bread (pan de coco). I texted my sister if she was in the terminal.
Son also drove until he parked the car outside the terminal. When my sister arrived at 8AM (trip was 11 hours only), I boasted that my son already drives the car.
I know, I know! My son has no driver's license yet, and I was anxious if there will be police or traffic enforcers that will whistle us down, but it is Sunday, so there were no traffic police around.
I was anxious, but I have trust, faith and confidence to my son.

Good to know that your son can drive already but a word of caution, you wouldn't want your son to be caught by those corrupt traffic enforcers driving without a license.
That would be very costly.

Nice to know that you allowed our son to drive the car. But it is my suggestion that you first make sure that your boy takes driving license and then give him car to drive.

yes, luck was on our side; besides, if it is a Sunday, the tendency would be, the police are still not around

oh, that is the difference between my place and yours. i however did not make any violation as regards traffic and road courtesy, but i also did not let my son continue driving when the time was about 9 AM

indeed, a driver's license is also a privilege, and a responsibility as well

yes, though it is nice to have someone driving for you. It is not good when troubles come.
