Let it be. And yesterday.

I´m mylotting while I listen to The Beatles singing Let it be. While the words in that song whisper in my ears, I think about the words "oldies" when so many youngsters refer to them. And then don´t listen, and many sneer. These musicians changed not only music but the world. They changed the way young people dressed. They opened trends of thought. I´m sure that there is music that young men and women love now. But it would not have existed without them.

The Beatles were fantastic songwriters and musicians and most of their songs contain positive messages, like Hey Jude and Let It Be.

Yes they did @JudyEv. Some of the songs we heard were originally done by others from my parents youth. Here I always thought the ones I heard were new.

Just as we listen to clasical music, we should listen once in a while to clasical pop music.

I loved the Beatles from the time they became popular and I can still listen to them. I remember them when first appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. Some of you never heard of Ed Sullivan but he was famous for bringing many new entertainers on his stage so the world could see their talent. I will always love the Beatles and most of their songs. They certainly changed the world.
