Washing by hand for my trip.

Usually I wait until I have a machine load of clothes to wash. I save water and soap.
But now I am not thinking about saving. I am checking what to take in my suitcase and I cannot wash anything in the last day as it won´t dry out with this cold.
I set the machine to the minimum with some dark clothes and have a couple of white shirts to wash.
Meanwhile I am making a list for the super and for the Bank. I have to go again to the Bank for my insurance and will also activate my credit card to use abroad.
I´m sleepy (time for a nap) but I will wait until the washing machine stops. I don´t usually iron my clothes so I will hang them well to dry.

Ah, I forget that it is cold there right now (it is summer hot here!). Hope you get it all done in time - you must be excited! I don't iron either . . . I take stuff out of the dryer and hang things up just before they are completely dry.

I don´t have a dryer either. I gave mine to my eldest daughter some years ago. I usually wash when I have sun and that´s enough. But not if I have a trip.

@marguicha I should get a line and take advantage of our heat! Yah, you have enough things to do to prepare for your trip!

Thank you. This is a very special holiday as I am going with my two youngest grandchildren.
