People Should Change

It had been the "battlecry" of Filipinos who campaigned for President Rodrigo R. Duterte. They said "change" is coming. And when he was voted by more than 16 million Filipinos, we hoped that there would be big changes in the Philippines.
But what about that man I saw this afternoon at the ramp area of a mall which is intended for people to load groceries or unload people, but the hard headed man in a blue car parked for so long, restricting other mall goers who would load their groceries in their vehicles. It caused congestion at that mall entrance/exit.
My husband called the attention of the guard regarding that man, so the guard told him to park elsewhere. That man should show respect for others; show some discipline if ever they really want change to happen.
They should not wait for a leader to lead that "change," but it should start in them!

It is true, it should start within a man.

It is right, people should adopt to change, if it is for the betterment of all; some have to do some sacrifices for it.

It is so frustrating to see people like that, who would just go with the flow because it is a fad; but they do not look at themselves and start the change in them; in their behavior.

I agree with you, Judy, some people tend to be idealists, but they do not see the flaws in themselves.

No president would ever succeed if the people stay the same.

I agree, if people will not educate themselves; be respectful of others and of laws, then change would be far-fetched.

Yes, we are hoping for change to the better. But some people's personal attitudes never change. I hope I am wrong.

If all people will not change their negative attitudes like the simple act of following rules, then change is hard to achieve in a larger scale. They need an iron fist to rule over them.

Yes, he said it in his speech. Hope people will start changing their negative ways.
