A Quiet Fourth of July

We've had a nice quiet day watching parades and races. It's still sunny and hot outside. I carried a book to the deck and turned the overhead fan on for awhile. Then came in a cut the watermelon I bought yesterday. My better half suggested going to I Hop, just down the street, to get blueberry pancakes but I have blueberries in the frige that we need to use, so I suggested making them at home. He might be getting restless and want to go out for awhile, so we'll see. I hope all of you have an enjoyable fourth of July, quiet or exciting, whatever pleases you. Be safe.

I went out for a little while this morning and enjoyed a walk through the amusement park, and got some great pictures and got a lot of walking in. Now I'm home and enjoying interacting with everyone here.

We were inside most of the day, but we went to a near park just before sun down and i walked. It was still hot but good to be outside.

No, I made blueberry pancakes and we ate at home. We did go out near sundown and I walked in the park.

It's been so nice here, too. The weather was gorgeous all day and the fireworks are going like crazy tonight. I can see a bunch of them out my living room window but after two nights of them, my interest is actually waning! lol So I'm listening to the booms as I type.

It's good to stop and do nothing sometimes. Our day was quiet too.
