Hit by a big storm last night

This doesn't seem to happen much in my neck of the woods, Minnesota, but last night we were hit with a huge storm that knocked down trees, knocked down power lines, caused some fires, some flooding on freeways and tons of accidents. It was kind of like pandemonium! Also there were some spotted funnel clouds several miles south of us, thankfully they did not turn into full blown tornadoes. This started at 4-5 PM and went onto until after 10PM. No power just from 5:30 PM until this morning around 6 AM. Even the wifi came back up, which kind of surprises me! Has this happened to you lately? How scary indeed.

We experienced the heavy rain and strong winds brought by the storm last night, we have a power interruption and no internet connection.

Ok, that's good. I always worry about people's safety when there are these big crazy storms. Hope the sun comes out soon for you though.

It hasn't happened for a while here-but I know hurricane season is right around the corner for us so I am expecting it.

I'm glad you are all right. Sounds very scary. I hope you weren't out in any of it.

We haven't had any major storms in my area. They keep going around us which is a good thing.

Nice. I hope they continue to do so (and they could skip over my state too, while they are at it lol).

We seem to escape the big storms, but I'm sure our day is coming. Glad all is well again.
