I called hospice the other day with a praise report. My caregiver is so wonderful. She is loving and does way more than she has to. A couple of weeks ago my daughter had fallen in the bathroom due to a concussion she suffered the week before. My daughter was crying for help, but, I never heard her. My caregiver found my daughter on the floor. We leave the door unlocked for her so she can come in. Thank goodness too, and Katie found her. She called her boss and her hospice gave her directions on evaluating my daughter and getting her up. Today she folded all the clothes that were in the drier and folded towels and washcloths that were in the spare room waiting to be folded. She did it. She empties kitchen trash, besides cleaning up in the bathroom. She also empties trash and empties commode in my room. Part is her job but not all. So every now and then I want to call her boss just to give a Atta-girl. I'm her last patient of the day so she spends more time with me. She even washes dishes up so that my family doesn't have to do them. I just love her to pieces.

She does sound like a dear person/nurse. My mom's Hospice nurses were wonderful too. They were so helpful and kind.

She sure is. I don't know what I would do without her.
