would you miss driving?

I used to drive. When I was young, I could drive anywhere as long as I had good directions. I used to be a caregiver who drives from case to case and I had no fears. As I closed in on my late 20s I became fearful of traffic. As the years passed I became fearful of places out of my comfort zone. My comfort zone was about 30 miles all around home. Once I started into the suburbs I panicked. Then a couple of years ago I would forget where I was and get lost in familiar territory. I would be near home and believe I was 50 miles from home in another city. I went to my doctor. She sent me to a neurologist. I learned in was having seizures so my doctor took my drivers privileges away from me. I used to miss being able to drive to town, but I got over it. I know I could kill me or some others on the road so I am happy not to drive.

It would be difficult to give up but I would adjust to it. Prayers for you and your seizures. Have a blessed day

I miss driving around town. THe kids and I used to just drive around, go see those we knew in the cemeteries and check out different areas. I haven't been driving since about a year and a half ago now. But, just found out I have a cataract so good thing I don't. Scary to end up some place so far away and realize how you got there.

@OreoBrownie .....I didn't realize I had one. Was really surprised when the eye doctor told me I had one.
