why don't you enjoy food outside the vehicle...?

While going on a tour along with my family I happened to see that families touring in a car generally stop at the Food Supply Houses / Restaurants. Only a driver or a family member get down from a car with a big list of items and orders the supply. The other members just sit inside a car and finish of their lunch/ dinner. I really wonder why these people when they come out to enjoy the nature and spend time with the general folk do not get down from Car and enjoy their lunch in an open air under cool breeze or under a powerful moonlight? Do you enjoy food in open air under moonlight while travelling in a Car?

Different countries, different habits. Nobody eats food staying inside the car here. Of course we enjoy to have a picnic in a nice area under the trees.

@shivamani10 I know that in the United States people eat inside the cars, I live in Europe, in Switzerland and we do not eat inside a car.
