Well it did rain- for a half hour!

We're getting pretty dry here in Southern Ontario this summer and it keeps on and on. We do get rain, as in the forecast but it's so short it doesn't do a darn thing. My flowers are starting to look sad. They need that uplift they always get from the natural watering of the rain.
Two nights ago, I couldn't sleep very well and was surprised by the sound of rain and as I lay there I thought, "Oh great rain! I'll get up and take a look!" And it sounded like it was really coming down.Well being tired, I took a while and by the time I got up- it was already slowing down.
Even though I don't like rain when it never ends, I love a day or two of it! Hope this doesn't turn into a summer drought- but we could use rain that lasts longer than half an hour. Are you getting rain where you are?

They talk about it being drier than usual here because there wasn't much snow to melt but looks to me that we've had plenty of rain. My road has been a mud hole the past few days again.

@MarymargII I'm in New Brunswick. I don't think we've ever been in a dry zone.

I see you're in Canada but you must not be near the dry zone we're in where the rain keeps going overhead to somewhere else-ha!

It's a bit of a drought right now although weather reporters are calling it 'dry' and it's not everywhere but around where I live seems to be the worst. i hope you get some good gardener's weather to keep those lovely blooms coming---

Here in Southern California, we have been in a drought for five years, rarely getting more than 8 inches of rain a YEAR. We would LOVE to have some rain!

It rained for almost a whole week last week , until Saturday . But now since yesterday it is sunny .
