I'm Sad because ...

That's right. I'm really sad because I'm losing my CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). She didn't really do anything wrong in my estimation. It started with this news about Black Lives Matter. She started talking during my bath that another black boy had been killed by a police officer. I didn't know much about it because I rarely watch the news.
I had said that all lives matter. That not all blacks, whites, Hispanics and others are bad. All lives matter, not just the blacks. She said white cops are getting killed because the blacks are tired of being singled out.
I went out to tell her about our relative who was a 33 year old white police officer that was gunned down before he could exit his police vehickle. She went on to say they are sick of it. It was irritating because our dead police officer didn't count. She wasn't listening.
My daughter heard some of what was said, so she asked me. So my daughter has asked that she not be my CNA anymore. It may take a few days to get her off my case. My daughter said she didn't want anymore black CNA to care for me. I was really upset because she goes over and above her duties. I cried.
I couldn't say anything to her about it. It's getting where people get panic attacks due to the racial unrest.
I hope this post does not offend anyone.
I love everyone.

If you like her - can't you call the company and tell them it was a misunderstanding and while your daughter may have been upset, you want the woman to continue to be your CNA? It's your healthcare and you should be the one who gets to make the choices - not your daughter.

I like her but she does get on my nerves sometimes. She gets very political with the black and white issue.

I've been a home care person and to be utterly honest I'd maybe not work for someone who seems to think a person hasn't done wrong one minute then the next they think the person gets on their nerves and has done wrong.

If you feel she didn't do anything wrong just tell your daughter you want to keep her.

I didn't like how she generalized all white cops deaths as justified. Her job is to take care of me. I can see why my daughter wants her changed.

@OreoBrownie so you do think she did something wrong then?
If you think she did wrong, which is a little different to what your post said, get her changed.
If she did nothing wrong then keep her.
You did say " She didn't really do anything wrong in my estimation. "...so she either did wrong or she didn't...you're pretty much changing your mind

That's true. There are bad apples in every bushel.
