Wrens in the Tree

I heard some birds in the maple tree today. They sounded just like my baby bird. I saw them fly away, and I felt sad that my baby bird was not flying with them. Still, I am glad that his brothers and sisters are still there. Maybe my bird did not make it, but his gene pool still survives. They are pretty cool little birds, the house wren. They only eat insects, pretty beneficial to humans. They are tiny birds, plain brown, not very flashy.

It was such a shame that your baby bird met with an accident - for want of a better word!
