Another great postcard from Debs arrived yesterday - they are coming in faster that a Boeing Jet! I have many postcards to feature from other mylotters this week, but I thought I would do this one in great appreciation of Debs efforts to send me post - that without TOADS! When Deb has said she was sending postcards of their local "horny toad" off to all the friends, i messaged her to ask not to send to me in fear of what the 'chuck-up' or 'fatality of Lany' would look like outside my postbox. For those that dont know it yet - I DONT, EVER, NEVER DO FROGS!!!!! Thank you @crazyhorseladycx for considering my fear! I found out some interesting facts about New Mexico and maybe these will interest the readers as well: "New Mexico is a southwestern state whose diverse terrain encompasses the Chihuahuan Desert and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Its capital, Santa Fe, founded in 1610, is known for upscale spas and Spanish colonial architecture. It's also home to a vibrant arts scene, as well as the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, with its iconic New Mexican landscape paintings, and the open-air Santa Fe Opera." Happy Thursday everyone - I have just gotten started. Keep it real!

@Inlemay We did not play golf in Santa Fe, it has an elevation of almost 7,200 feet (2,200 meters). I walked quietly and did not move too fast, because I have a heart problem.

@LadyDuck - sorry I meant to say she plays Golf in New Mexico not necessarily Santa Fe - wow you did all that walking with a heart problem - are you all okay now that you are in Switzerland? Does the walking there not have any affect on you?

It is a nice postcard but I would prefer one with a frog on it. I just checked online and there are 115 species of frog native to Africa, so I cannot think of any way that you can avoid those adorable little creatures.

I have my hubby patrol any path, any waters, absolutely everything before I set a foot out the house and car. We had a big bull frog in one of our outside swimming pool drains - which Croaked for years until the pipe was blocked - it finally croaked - but i never go outdoors at night in the summer without a bodyguard - I have landed in hospital due to shock(hyperventilation) from a frog

eeeeek - you wouldn't! but did you know that Feng Shui myth - Your lucky money frog can help bring wealth your way! You can have up to nine money frogs or toads in your workspace, garden or home. The most favorable numbers are one, three, six or nine. Various factors can affect the money-drawing powers of Chan Chu. Some locations can negate or reverse her energy. You don't want that. SO FROGS in your garden and home are a good omen of good finances.

Now I know who Debs is. Great postcard! I even learned something. I didn't know the capital was founded in 1610. That's a full 10 years before the Mayflower landed in Plymouth with the first Pilgrims.
