A Very Stormy Morning

I took this picture this morning on the drive home from taking my mom to commodities.
My alarm went off at 7:45 am to get up to take her. It was pouring rain. Apparently I turned off my alarm and fell back to sleep as mom came in at 8:10 to wake me that she needed to be leaving.
My ex called just as I was getting out of bed. He gets an hour on the phone and we were just ending that hour when we were pulling up for mom to pick up her commodity foods.
Once I got home my daughter and 2 grandkids were still sleeping and it was so dark in the house. I decided I was going back to bed while it was dark. I set the alarm for an hour and ended up sleeping almost 2 hours!
Since then I have been on the computer and my devices. Mulit-tasker that I am, I'm surfing 3 different traffic exchanges on my 3 tablets and have swagbucks apps running on 2 phones.
I have ran through some email looking for codes for traffic exchanges I will be surfing in traffic browser next, but mostly I've been interacting here.
Now it's times to move on. I hope everyone is having a nice Thursday.

Keep dry and safe. When we have a stormy weather in here, I feel that I would always like to eat and sleep.

@annierose cloudy weather makes it darker so I'm sure that is what makes me more tired on those days. I read someone else's post about stress eating. There is more than usual stress going on in our family right now so I'm blaming the wanting to eat all the time on stress.

@marsha32 I wonder if there is a scientific reason behind that.

I am glad not to have gone out in the rain. You surely needed more sleep.

@marsha32 I would hurt all over from laying in bed. Six or six and a half at a time is about all I can manage.

@GardenGerty I used to be able to sleep up to eight or nine hours just a year or so ago, Heather, but now it seems like I can't manage much more than six or so like yourself. Has it been that way for you most of your life or just in the past few years?
I don't know whether it's because I know in the back of my mind that I have so much to do or whether I really don't need the extra sleep any more.

I hope you enjoyed your extra sleep. You are always going a million miles an hour you deserve it.

Right now I'm really upset. I was outside and the dog decided to jump across my table to get on my chair. He knocked off my new tablet and shattered the screen. It was the only place I could log in to redstaghits except in trafficbrowser. I was getting in so much more surfing, but now it won't do anything. I got it at a reduced rate of $28 to do an amazon review but I've not had it long enough to earn back the $28 that I paid for it yet.

Hi Marsha, I hope you're doing well. I've not run into you in a bit it seems. Just saw you on JudyStory's post a few minutes ago. In fact, I commented on your comment.
I don't think I realized that you had an ex. I know you're always talking about your kids, but I never put two and two together, or I never read any posts where you shared anything about that either here or bubblews, unless I knew it before but forgot.
We've had more rain off and on recently, and several days when it looked like rain, but nothing happened. I've seen those skies in your picture this past week. At least things aren't quite so dry like they were. I still need to get out and water things more than normal.

Unfortunately I'm one of those who has a few ex's. This one is in prison and has been since 1999. He recently started sending a bit of money each month for our daughter and me to share. Then he's been calling to check in at least once a month. Not sure how my current husband thinks about it because he doesn't say anything and if he calls when he's home, he talks to him too.

@marsha32 Okay, when you mentioned your ex, I didn't remember that you were married now too. I was married before also, from 1970-1976. I've no idea where he is now, but we never had any children together. I saw him twice in the early eighties but never since then.
Good that he's sending a bit of money your way.

Our yard is almost only weeds...hubby hates how much he has to mow with this rain.

I shouldn't admit that I have 3 ex's. I am currently married and our 5th anniversary is coming up on the 30th.
This ex is my 3rd ex and he's been in prison since the end of 1999.

Sometimes I'm about driving myself crazy trying to keep up with 6 things, but it's all for the sake of earning those pennies. Maybe some day it will be more than pennies.
