So the last date for the paying tax is coming closer. So that means I have to get myself ready to pay the tax. I have done the calculation on my own with quickbooks. However I am going to send this to accountant and get it sorted.
I think it won't be much of the big tax this year for me. But still have to check if it gets a bit toll on my pocket. I am not in position of losing much tax money this year. Saving very harshly so far.
How's tax and other half yearly routine going for you guys. I am hoping most of you are done with the taxes.

When I was still working, we did not have to worry about income tax payment because our salaries were already deducted for that and about 3 or 4 months before year-end, adjustments are made so that either additional deduction is made from our payroll or a refund is made so that at the end of the year the total amount deducted from our salaries is equal to our tax due up to the last centavo.

Don't you have other investments and also instruments where you would have invested that gave tax exemptions? It is the total picture and not just salary.

@allknowing I belonged to the fixed income earners - those receiving income purely from salaries. Some of my co-employees who were receiving dual income - one from salaries and another from business operations had to combine the two and most likely pay additional tax.

The last day of filing income tax returns in our country news last April 15 yet. My husband is tax even so there's no need for him to pay over the counter.

For some years we used an accountant to do our tax and he saved us a lot of money. It was a good idea for us.
