the littlest paddling pool

Once upon a time, not very long ago, well okay, this afternoon, there lived Paddling Pool.
Paddling Pool was bright yellow and extremely tiny because he was only for babies and tiny toddling toddlers. He lived in Garage mostly, but on hot days he was allowed out into Garden. Someone would blow into him and he'd swell up as if he'd been eating too much cake and getting fatter and fatter and fatter and fatter ... until he BURST!!! like a balloon!
Don't be silly! Of course he didn't burst. Instead he just jiggled a little and then someone would fill him with water. Beautiful, cold, wet, shiny water. Child would sit in him, splashing away contentedly, playing with the water in such a frivolous way that you would be forgiven for thinking this wasn't the same Child who spent the first few months of her life absolutely hating baths.
As Child plays with Paddling Pool, the grow'd ups chat about this and that, relaxing in the heat of a hot summer's day. And later, when Child grows bored with Paddling Pool, one particular grow'd up {the favourite aunt, of course} will have a paddle in Paddling Pool, finding him to be the perfect antidote to heat.
And that, Dear Reader, is the simple story of the littlest pool for paddling in which ever existed.
I NEED my very own Paddling Pool, to live in my Garage and spend time in my Garden.

@Poppylicious I think so too. We should start a new trend.

@simone10 Definitely ... I'm not sure it will be as much of a hit as Pokemon Go though!

I think all adults should have their very own Paddling Pool. :)

I am seriously considering it. I'm just waiting for most of summer to be over so that the prices go down!

@Poppylicious When your feet are warm in winter all your body feels warm, it's the same in summer, keep your feet cool to feel better.

Until I had a go I had no idea that something so simple could be so cooling. There I am, filling my belly up with frozen cocktails in an effort to stay cool and I could just be sticking my feet in cold water! Why did nobody tell me?!

Oh, you are lovely, but in Real World I stumble over my words. I'm a far better writer than I am talker. *big cheesy grin*

A paddling pool is a fun thing to have, I agree.
So, how is the pool liking your garden?

Unfortunately Paddling Pool lives at my Baby Niece's. I shall just have to make do with a washing up bowl filled with cold water!
