Immersive Historical Tour

United States
July 18, 2016 5:40am CST
Just read about this via facebook group post. An interactive and immersive tour of 1600's London and The Whitehall Palace. It seems as if you'll be wearing some sort of headset that immerses you in the sounds of the time period and walks you through several key events within the time period. Oh how I wish I could fly over to take part in that! More info can be found out here but it seems as if tickets for adults start around 7 GBP.

Now that would be very interesting and in the heart of London.

@ScribbledAdNauseum You might decide to live there and then they wouldn't see you for a long time.

So much more I'd love to see and do in and around London. It would definitely be quite the trip. I often joke with my family, that when I do go to the UK, they probably will never see me again! haha!

We could just as well go out afterwards with all of the mylotters who'd be attending!

It would be interesting to experience that, but the area at that time would be a very unpleasant place to be.

There is no doubt about that. I wonder how well they've done to really bring it to life. Apparently you are able to "walk" where Charles I was executed. It isn't just the Stuarts but the Tudors and especially Cardinal Wolsey and Henry VIII. I think it's reasonably priced, in fact I'd have expected to pay more?

@ScribbledAdNauseum I agree that the pricing is very reasonable.
