Sitting in a Waiting Room and Writing on My Tablet

We headed down to Ann Arbor, Michigan where my husband had surgery last year on is good leg. For those that don't know, his right leg was amputated in 2008. He got a charley-horse in his left leg last May, and we found out after going to ER that he had a blood clot in back of the knee. He was shipped to Ann Arbor right away for surgery.
We're here for his yearly appointment. Traffic wasn't too awful, but we left more than an hour earlier than needed and made decent time. Y wo tests are planned on his left foot and toes, and then we'll see the doctor.
Edit, additional info:
After giving my husband two small tests to check the blood flow in his foot and toes, they found that the blood flow was normal again. Because of this he won't have to continue the trek down to see that doctor each year. She did tell him what type of symptoms to watch out for and if he has any of them, then we'd be seeing her again.
But, otherwise, he's doing well.
Now I'll try to upload an image from my tablet, probably from colorfy.

It did. His veins have great circulation and we don't need to go back to see that particular doctor unless he has some symptoms she mentioned sometime in the future. I thought he'd have to go see her each and every year, so this is great news just for that reason.

@BelleStarr So are we. Now to just get his new prosthetic fitting correctly so he can stand on it more than one hour at a time, that would be another blessing.

Not really, it was a wellness type of checkup. It's been a year since we saw her last. I thought we'd be going for one of these every year forward, but found that he won't need to go again unless he shows signs of any symptoms she laid out.
I'm back home again now and so is he.

My husband has the appt. I'm waiting in the waiting room until he's either completely done or until we both can listen to what the doctor has to say.

I'm at work waiting for my son to finish his shift and then my wife to pick the both of us up. This tablet with keyboard is a huge blessing. Hopefully everything goes well for your husband's visit to the doctor.

@MarshaMusselman My keyboard is a cheap external one that plugs into the tablet via the same port that I use for charging.

The visit was great and I've explained the results several times here, so I won't keep repeating myself.
Do you have an external keyboard that you sync via Bluetooth, or are you talking about the built-in keyboard? I've used both. I used the external one for the first eight months of having my tablet but decided to only use the one built in for now as I mostly play games with the tablet.

They have wifi in my doctors office, but they keep a password on it. At the place we were today, it's a big teaching hospital and they have a free wifi service which I tapped into. I also had to agree to their terms which I was glad I read as I found out nothing is encrypted. That means it's not a good way to check funds at the bank or wherever as anyone could get that info if they know how.

@MarshaMusselman Yes, I use that kind of WiFi when ever I can, and I remember not to use it for banking!

If he would realize that he should be doing better staying away from sweet goods as he's type two diabetic, then he'd be doing even better yet. If anything, that may be his undoing, but then again, I've talked to many where their spouses have the same illness and eat the same foods and they are living longer than you'd think they would/could, so since this illness is still fairly new to him he'll have time to figure it all out.
There are others that once they hear they have that, they completely refrain from eating anything sugary, some even to the point of reversing the illness enough so no more meds are needed. I'd like to see that happen, but in the mean time I need to remember to pray and allow God to work in his heart and mind regarding that.

That's a good memory. At first, I was thinking you were mistaken, but his surgery last year was in the end of May and we were still bubbling at that time.

Thanks for both, I'm sure he will be fine. He's had some pain but we think it's because his prosthetic isn't fitting correctly right now and he's over-compensating with the left.

It is a shame that some go through these things. Your husband has really had a tough time of it. Hope he has no more issues.

It's handy being able to pass the waiting time myLotting, isn't it? I've just had to wait for an hour for my car to be fixed so I took the laptop.
I hope your husbands test come back alright, and that he's given as clean a bill of health as possible.
Love your picture.

I even brought the wall-plug CV adapter thingy. I may need to move near an outlet eventually but for now I'm good.

Good news that he won't have to have regular check ups with that doctor anymore.
What is colorfy?
My tablet will show some of my own pictures (from the ones that are here on my laptop) but the 2 times I've tried to use one of them in a mylot post the picture didn't show up.
