This week at work or the case of the lost housekeeping cart

A new girl was hired and after training she was set out of her own. On Saturday she was given five rooms that should have taken her two and a half hours (30 minutes per room). It took her 6 hours. The first room took her an hour and a half with most of it spent cleaning the bathroom. After lunch on Sunday she comes up to me and says she lost her cart. A housekeeping cart is not easy to lose-trust me. Spends over an hour looking in rooms for it. No, I didn't help her find it but someone did. When I was done I went to fold towels, then went to help make a couple of her beds (nobody wanted to be there all night). She's not going to make it unless she speeds things up. I'm not perfect by any means but I can work faster and I'm probably old enough to be the girl's grandmother! Hotel work isn't for everyone and it certainly isn't for this girl!

Some people seem to be born slow - in the sense that it takes forever to do anything. Some check-out girls are very slow loading shopping while others get it done really quickly.

I think this girl is slow in the brain too.

@irishidid In that case there probably isn't much hope for her.
