I've been waiting, but my patience is running thin!

I bought something from etsy on the 13th of July. It was shipped the next day. I see on the tracking that it has been "picked up" by the postal service but that is the last update.
Now I know that packages don't always update. It can show that it's sitting at the same place for a week and yet the next day you receive it. I am sort of hoping that is the case for this.
However, it isn't coming from very far away and I would imagine it wouldn't need to go through too many sorting facilities. The "expected delivery date" was the 16th and here it is the 19th. If it doesn't come today I am afraid I'll be calling the postal service and fussing at them.
I don't think it would need to be signed for, but either way no note has been left to that regard either.
It's just so frustrating! It's the first few pieces of a collection I have started and I only paid $8.00 for all of it!

Even if you call the PO they are really not very helpful and I hate dealing with them. They seem to be getting worse rather than better no wonder people use UPS or FedX at least you can receive an answer from them as to where your package is.

@Marcyaz There is one postal delivery guy who is very good about doing his job. He brings packages that won't fit into the mailbox up to the porch. The lady that delivers our mail sometimes? She just shoves it into the box, even if it takes her longer to do that then it would to get out and take the item to the door.

THe last time I had to deal with this post office was when I was waiting on a certified letter I would need to sign for. The lady came up to the porch but didn't ring the doorbell or knock. I figured she was dropping off a package. When I opened the door after she left? There was a "Failed Delivery" notice. I called the post office and made SURE they knew how I felt on that.

It (the tracking) updated when I was sleeping. It's still in Virginia (state of origin) but it's atleast moving now!

They may have sent it on a summer vacation to the mountains before delivering it to you. The price sounds wonderful. Will we get to see pictures?

Yes once I receive it. It is a wonderful price, but the coins aren't in a condition that one would normally collect them in. Not to mention they aren't coins that are usually collected (I don't think).
The tracking updated, it's still in VA but atleast it's not lost. I had been afraid it might have been.

That happened to me when I ordered something from Amazon. But it did come a few days later. Just wait a few more days then complain.

I feel lke I've waited enough, even with Sunday being thrown into the mix. I probably won't get a chance to complain until Thursday at any rate. I work Wednesday's and while I"d have time to call the post office? I wouldn't want to get so worked up right before work!
We don't have the greatest postal carriers here...
