This Week's Special Recipe-Soda Pop Cake

This is a very easy one. All you need is a cake mix and a 12 oz can of soda pop. Mix them together and bake according to the box directions.
We used strawberry cake mix and strawberry soda. I used 1 1/2 cups from a two liter bottle. While it didn't rise as much as I thought it would, the results were good. The cake came out with a perfect texture. We will definitely be doing this again.
Originally I had planned to do something else with the cake from a video I saw where the cake was made into a two liter bottle along with a gelatin added to the soda pop but couldn't find a step by step to follow.

I had heard of it being done but this was the first time we tried it.

Wow, that's a bit different. Sounds very easy though. We don't eat much cake. I don't need it and Vin is Type 2 diabetic so best if we just don't have it in the house.
