Oh, I get the normal stuff. You know: Hi, Sexy, want to chat? 18 yr old virgin wants to get dirty with you. Get rid of your student debt. Walmart wants to send you money. Increase your manhood. Lets remember here, I'm a 62 year old crazy cat lady... But today I saw: Dental implants. Okay... do they know something I don't know? I mean, I have ALL my teeth except those wisdom ones that I had the wisdom to remove at about 24... The roomie could stand some I guess, but I don't need any. I have rotten teeth, but I've had good dental care all these years, so I have my teeth. In fact, my teeth and my eyes are about the best things I've got... the rest of me is falling apart!!! How about you? Got some student debt you need to have refied? Insecure about your... size? How many ways can you find in your spam folder to waste your money?

I live in Switzerland, but on the Italian speaking region. It's incredible, but most of my spam emails are in German. I do not even speak this language, so I delete them all without even looking the sender.

Yeah, Switzerland is a pretty amazing country, 3 languages - well, 4 actually, though few know that... I'd guess that the reason they are in German is because you live sort of south-west in Switzerland and German is the main language in the western parts of the country... I get a few in Spanish - they go away. Heck, I've gotten a few in Chinese... what's with that?

@ElicBxn You are right, only few know that Switzerland has 4 official languages, but German is the most largely spoken. We live all the way south, near the border with Italy, but it is very possible that our IP address is from the German side, so this is the reason of German spam.

I usually delete emails in my spam folder without reading them. But in a glance, I always see like I'm winning something or I have few thousand dollars in my account or something like that... yeah, right!

So do I, but I have to look because sometimes things I don't consider spam end up there. It was the dental implants that really got my attention tonight. I can't believe how many "hot sexy girls" I get... think its because I don't have a gender specific name?

@ElicBxn Could be... They're so annoying, not to mention their possible virus threat... So I just delete them straight away...

@sishy7 I'm the primary back up to someone in a yahoo group. She's good about getting to these things, but because I normally just delete them, my mail program decides sometimes to just put them in the spam folder. I have to mark them as not spam, take them back to new mail so I can delete them!
