Never found the spook who stole from the house

About 20 years ago when my then husband and I lived in a double wide modular home. The owner was one of my CNA at work. She said that the home is on the land that has been in her family for over 100 years. She mentioned that there were some pranks spirits in the house but they won't bother us. So we leased it.
Well, right away things got missing. Hammers would get gone from where we kept them and never show up again. Screwdrivers and electrical tape and other carpentry gadgets like tape measures and nails would get gone.
When my husband worked the 12 midnight to noon shift I never felt like I was alone. I always felt a presence.
Then he got bolder. He, the spirit, would stand behind me. My hairs on my neck crawled. Then a few times it slapped me on the back and shoulder area. It wasn't mean or scary, but I felt he knew I knew he was there and he watched me.
It wasn't frightening but I felt eery all the time. We moved back to our old house as soon as we could. Dad and mom moved there so it made it easier on them with me there and they enjoyed seeing Kimmie more often on a daily basis.

How old was the house? You should've asked before buying.. Who lived before and stuff. I'd get as soon as possible out of there even if it's not scary or harmful.

The house is long gone. My dad had it bulldozed and carted away.

@OreoBrownie,I do believe in the paranormal.Have had experienced many spooky incidents,once even in my home.I,however,have never encountered a ghost so far.
