Bleep Utterance!

Yesterday we had such fun reading and responding about the diversity of an oxymoron'ic, best slang word every said in Judy's post "The 'F' word" which lured me to tell this little tale. Sometimes words are uttered that the mind has already censored - The tongue is faster than the mind! Sometimes we say a word that isnt remotely what we meant, but it passes the tongue quicker than we can hold it back. In a conversation with a bunch of my oldie girl friends - where the one's hubby was present as he is the only retired hubby of our lot - a slip of a word has us in hysterics for hours . . during tea and weeks afterwards. We were discussing the financial implications and changes we undergo when approaching pensionable age and Mag's turned to her husband and said "Well we will have to condomise if we want to see our way through" to which he replied "I dont mind, but I'm not sure it will help with the budget at all!" by this time we were all ROFL'ing and she wanted to know why . . . . Blush blush - 'Condomise' instead of 'Economize' - BLEEP . . .go figure! Have you ever said something tongue twisting strange? Share with us on this Comedy Friday! My Man will be home today . . . just a ridiculously funny photo

That was funny, I can imagine how much you were laughing. I remember some embarrassing tongue twisting in Italian.

@Inlemay You are right and the best is when people use words that they do not know. Some discussions become hilarious.

Yes the tongue has that innate ability to make us look like fools, you spend a fortune on a lavish education, enough to bring you out of the gutter and the tongue still lets you down

Oh yes, I have made some really funny tongue twisters before. It's like you know what you want to say but it comes out another way.
